Madonna Manor, a senior living community in northern Kentucky, recently dedicated its new community center in honor of Mother Adelaide, the foundress of the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio.  The Adelaide Center includes a state-of-the-art fitness center, a full-service kitchen, a multi-purpose room with computers and flat-screened televisions, and a physician’s clinic for the convenience of the residents.

Madonna Manor is a Franciscan Living Community, formerly part of the Sisters’ healthcare sponsored ministry.  It provides a continuum of care for its residents that include independent living cottages, assisted-living apartments, and a skilled nursing facility with memory support rooms.  A member of Catholic Health Initiatives, Madonna Manor provides a spiritual atmosphere that adheres to the teachings of St. Francis of Assisi and promotes the values of reverence, integrity, compassion and excellence.
