Fr. Neil Kookoothe and Joe D’Ambrosio share their real life experiences with the flaws of the criminal justice system. The evening begins with Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. followed immediately by the talk. Fr. Kookoothe is a Catholic priest, lawyer, nurse, and advocate for the social justice issue of wrongful conviction. With help from Fr. Kookoothe, Mr. D’Ambrosio was exonerated from Ohio’s death row in 2012 after spending 22 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.
