The Decline of Christianity in the Holy Land
Monday, October 14 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm| Free
The Christian communities in the Holy Land go back over 2000 years and have been responsible for keeping the faith alive in the land where Jesus lived. Yet over the last 70 years, Christians have gone from an historic 18% of the population to less than 2% today. Guest lecturer Sir Jeffrey Abood will speak on the Catholic Church’s perspective, along with sharing firsthand experience on the continued decline of Christianity in the Holy Land.
(Offered in collaboration with St. Joseph’s Parish, Sylvania and the Knights of Columbus Council #5628)
