Hosted by the Laudato Si’ Implementation Team and joined by Vod from Vod’s Here, this workshop will teach visible mending. Visible mending is an artistic approach to repairing clothes where the fixes or alterations are intentionally made noticeable. Instead of hiding flaws, visible mending turns them into design features, celebrating the history and uniqueness of the garment while extending its lifespan. Bring an item to mend or re-imagine a torn pair of pants or a stained shirt. If you don’t have an item, Vod has plenty of options to practice on.
