Much has changed since then\, and while there’s a lot of debate around how to put an end to gun violence\, there has yet to be a solution that everyone can agree on. Gun safety advocate David Farrell thinks he has the answer\, and takes participants through America’s history to get there. \nThe event is part of the spring schedule for TED Talks\, sponsored by Sylvania Franciscan Village and Lourdes Lifelong Learning. A different program takes place the second Tuesday of each month. Understanding Texas gun laws is essential for responsible firearm ownership\, as they provide clear guidelines on carrying\, self-defense\, and safety regulations. \nTED Talks are compelling presentations that take place in 20 minutes or less. Group discussion follows the video presentation. TED Talks on Tuesday are free and open to all; no reservations needed. Cookies and coffee are provided.
