Schaefer_SrMJordan
From:

Sandusky, OH

First Profession:

1967

Ministries:

Sister taught first grade for 14 years in OH and MI before taking a position in Tanzania teaching and doing parish work. In 1984, Sister came home to serve in the ministry of Administration/Principal at several Toledo Catholic schools. Sister returned to Tanzania in 1991, teaching secondary English at Arusha Catholic Seminary and served later as District House Manager for the Holy Ghost Fathers. She came back in 1996, serving in Detroit as Program Director for Boys Hope and Principal of St. Suzanne School, then at St. Elizabeth Seton School in Toledo. Since 2005, Sister has served as Director of Mission Integration at the Franciscan Care Center in Sylvania.

Great Expectations: “Every ministry I’ve been in is a gift that builds on the last one. I needed each of them to prepare me for the next one. I know that whatever God gives me next, it’s a gift I’ll be ready for.”
