Ministries:
Sister taught in elementary schools, primarily grades 3 and 4, for 19 years in Toledo, Detroit and Minneapolis. Her ministry transition to serve seniors began in 1990, serving as a Nursing Assistant at St. Therese Home in Minneapolis before going back to get her M.S.W. at University of Minnesota. Since 1997, Sister has worked at Hennepin County Adult Services and is currently the Senior Social Worker.
Precious Moments: Walking in the footsteps of Sts. Francis and Clare, spending time with family and friends, easing the hardship of poverty with her ministry, hearing Mother Theresa and touching her arm, giving life to her brother John with a bone marrow transplant, letting the power and majesty of Lake Superior feed her soul as she stands at its edge.
