Ministries:
Sister taught second grade from 1959-1961, transitioned to dietary ministry at Holy Cross Hospital in Detroit and then at St. Mary Hospital in North Platte, NE, then returned to teaching first grade again for nearly 20 years. In 1983, She transferred to Brenham, TX, working in dietary at St. Jude Hospital until 1989 when she joined Trinity Medical Center as the Materials Management Clerk. Still in Brenham, Sister served as Religious Education Director at Mary’s Catholic Church to 2001. She now ministers at St. Joseph Health System in Bryan, TX.
Grace of Gratitude: She spreads her Franciscan Joy to everyone she meets because “God created us to be happy,” she says. Sister thanks God each morning for her family and friends, the kindnesses she experienced and the gifts of grace she was able to bestow on others.
