Sister spent four years in the classroom teaching grades 3-5 before going back to school to give her scientific side a chance to shine. In 1972 she began her over 30-year ministry in health care, serving as a Medical Technologist and related roles in MI, TX, OH and VA. A cancer survivor since 1997, Sister returned to the Motherhouse in 2010 and has served as an Instructor at Lourdes, as talented jewelry artist contributor to All Good Things and, since 2021, as the Franciscan Library Asst. Director.
Are you listening? Sister wears her love for creation on her sleeve, working continually through the decades to encourage responsible environmental practices. “God speaks to us through people and nature. Everything around us is God communicating with us,” she says appreciatively.
