Sister transitioned to Pastoral and Chaplaincy care, ministering from 1984-1994 at St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan, TX, from 1996-2002 as Chaplain at Providence Health Care Center in Waco, TX, and as Spiritual Care Coordinator at Trinity Comm. Care Ctr. in Brenham, TX until 2010. She returned to the Motherhouse and served as Marian Co-Director until 2021.
Thanks Mother Justinian! “I could not have been more blessed,” Sister says. “As a Sylvania Franciscan I’ve had so many opportunities and done so many interesting things. Mother Justinian really is the one who made it possible,” Sister explains. “When I was a novice I knew that I didn’t want to be a lifetime student. Mother Justinian listened and decided I should be a nurse!” Sister beams.
