Are you looking for opportunities for prayer and contemplation?

OLofFatima-web

We provide a safe and peaceful environment for individuals and groups to pray and learn together.  A large group meeting space is available during the day for church and parish groups, ecumenical groups, school groups and others.  For individual retreats, two small log cabins(Hermitages) are available for daytime and overnight use allowing for a truly focused time of prayer in isolation. These are for persons who would like to experience the hermitage lifestyle that St. Francis lead for much of his life.

Reservations are required for the meeting space. The hermitages are popular and generally schedule months in advance. Contact Sister Nora Klewicki (419-824-3528 or nklewicki@sistersosf.org for information on reserving either space and costs.

June WalksA Guided Reflective Walk

This guided walk is a journey inward, a journey of the heart. We invite you to come away for two hours and visit seven shrines and sacred spots on the 89-acre campus. Beginning with the San Damiano Cross located in Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel, you will visit shrines and images that proclaim the life and journey of Francis of Assisi. Spend time reflecting on Francis’s Canticle of the Creatures, the icon of Francis and the Sultan, the Portiuncula Chapel (St. Mary of the Angels), as well as St. Francis and the Wolf of Gubbio. At each stop, we will consider our Franciscan history and take time for prayer and reflection.  Groups or individuals may request special tours. Each tour begins at 10:00 a.m and lasts until noon. $20 fee includes lunch. June 8 & July 13. Call 419-824-3528, or email nklewicki@sistersosf.org for additional Summer dates.
