If your shopping, wrapping and decorating is making you feel like the prophet Elijah, who cried to God, “I’ve had enough!”, join us as Bro. Mickey McGrath, OSFS shares art and stories inspired by his favorite Silver Haired Figures of the Faith. All have tales to tell and wisdom to share.
This two-day retreat with Brother Mickey is on December 13 and 14, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm on both days.
From Abraham and Sarah; through the Gospels with Mary, Elizabeth, Anna, and Joachim; up to modern saints and heroes such as Dorothy Day and St. John XXIII – each of them in their own way teaches us to enjoy a grace-filled relationship with God and can help you to recover your contemplative spirit in the midst of your preparations.
Options for attendance: One day or two.
