Donor Recognition
The Sylvania Franciscans appreciate and recognize your commitment and financial support to our mission, Sisters and ministries. As a way to show our gratitude, we have created a Donor Recognition Wall in Regina Hall where donors are listed by cumulative levels of giving.
This ceramic wall of tribute was designed by Sister Ruth Marie Kachelek, a former Congregational Minister and resident artist, who among other things, painted the San Damiano Crucifix that hangs in the sanctuary of Queen of Peace Chapel. The wall was created by Sister Jane Mary Sorosiak, who has dozens of ceramic artwork on the Motherhouse grounds and in churches and hospitals around the United States.
Thank you 2023 donors!

Memorials and Tributes
Memorial and/or tribute gifts are a wonderful way of remembering or honoring someone special. Celebrate a special family occasion—birthday, wedding anniversary, retirement, or Jubilee—with a gift of memorial or tribute. Or, maybe you want to honor a Sister of St. Francis who was a teacher or friend, spiritual director or one of our Sisters in Third Age Ministry (retirement).
When you contribute in this way we acknowledge your gift and send a notification card to your special person or relative. These names are also given to Queen of Peace Chapel for the Remembrance Book and our Sisters at Trinity House of Prayer for continued prayers and remembrance. Loved ones can also be memorialized or be given tribute by having their name inscribed on our donor wall.
