Sister’s ministry began in education, teaching grades 3 – 7 and, later, serving as a Youth Minister. In 1983, she began pastoral ministry that took her to OH, LA, MS, MI and Rocky Mount, VA, where she spent almost a decade working with the poor and marginalized. A mission trip to Haiti in 2001 evolved into a 12-year ministry in the Pestel region of Southwest Haiti. Sister currently serves on the Thriving Villages Board and serves her Sisters as an on-call driver.
