Meet Sister Josephine Dybza, OSF

Ministries:

Sister taught grades 1 – 4 in OH, MN and MI until 1979. She began her ministry at Our Lady of Lourdes in Toledo teaching grades 7-8 until 1984, then serving as school Principal until 1991. She served as Principal at St. Francis Educational Center for two years before turning her attention to art and art therapy for the next decade. She served as a family care giver and as an Alverno Studio Assistant, then joined the Haiti Mission in Pestel from 2009 – 2016 to live and be present with the poor. Sister currently volunteers with Veterans, in St. Anne’s Oncology Dept., with the Metropark ecology staff and serving her Sisters in need.
