Meet Sister Judy Ann Beaudry, OSF

Sister’s ministry in education began in 1976 at Saints Peter and Paul in Sandusky, OH where she taught primarily first grade until 2008. She transferred to St. Joseph School in Sylvania, where she taught until 2019. Sister currently serves at Sophia Counseling Center as an Administrative Assistant.
Primary Lessons: Sister’s long ministry in early childhood education is peppered with diverse extracurricular ministries such as chairing the Bereavement Committee, launching the first Extended Day Care Program, and serving as the program’s administrator and financial director at Sts. Peter & Paul in Sandusky. Now, working at Sophia Counseling Center, she sees how everything she’s learned through the years is relevant in this new ministry. “It all fits together,” Sister says. “It’s all about being relational and interacting with others in a joyful Franciscan spirit.”
