After teaching grades Pre-K through two for a decade, Sister Catherine served as Principal of the St. Francis Education Center at the Motherhouse until 1981 and then taught in the Lourdes College Education Lab until 1989. Her next ministry took her to Gate City, VA where she served as the Director of Nazareth House of Prayer and as a Head Start home visitor.
On community life: Sister reflects on the joyfulness of heart and steadfastness of her fellow Sylvania Franciscan Sisters, offering gratitude and love also to the many older Sisters who no longer walk among us but whose love and hard work live on.
