Meet Sister Rosalma Kmiec, OSF

Ministries:
Her ministry in education spanned 1953-1984, 21 years of it spent teaching grades 1-7 in OH, MI and MN and ten as school principal. Sister transitioned to other ministries, including serving as General Plant Manager of St. Francis Nursing Home in Saginaw, MI from 1984-86, joining the Rosary Hall Admin team from 1986-93, serving as a Companion at the Maria Health Care center in Adrian, MI from 1994-1998, as a Core Member of the Trinity House of Prayer from 1998-2001 and as Asst. Director of Development. Since 2001, Sister has served at Rosary Care Center, as Co-Director of Enrichment, as a Pastoral Care volunteer and as an assistant for Holy Aromas.
A rare opportunity. “Thank you, my God, for living within my soul, you in me, and I in you, together, I am whole.” For this poet, her prolific volume of thoughts penned in earlier years now offers a mirror to her intense love of Christ and, also, pause for reflection. “I know now that there were times in my life where I allowed daily life to distract me from this wholeness. I’m finding this time a beautiful reawakening.”
