Taoist Tai Chi Make a Move to Better Health – Session I
Monday, September 12, 2016 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
The fast-paced yet sedentary nature of modern life often results in stress and lack of sufficient physical activity. Many thousands of individuals have found the movements of Taoist Tai Chi® arts of health to be an effective way to counteract these pressures and to improve health. The gentle turning and stretching in each of the movements contributes to better balance and posture, increased strength and flexibility, and calmness and peace of mind.
Although not a substitute for proper medical treatment, regular practice can help to improve overall health and quality of life for people dealing with chronic conditions such as poor circulation, high blood pressure, arthritis, back pain, joint immobility, respiratory problems, digestive disorders, fibromyalgia and many others. Come enjoy this 5-week introductory class appropriate for people of all ages and ability levels. No previous experience required!
