Sister began her ministry in education in 1962, teaching grades 1-6 in seven different schools over the next 19 years. She was sent to New Orleans in 1982, where she served as a first-grade teacher and later as school librarian for the next 31 years. Sister Carol currently serves as the Congregational Archivist.
Southern charms: Sister treasures her years in New Orleans, remembering the scent of crepe myrtle and magnolia, the joy of a perfect shrimp Po’ Boy, and the delight of living in a melting pot of women religious gathered together from many different communities.
