Sister Brenda taught second and third grades in the Toledo Diocese for over 40 years. In 2011, she joined the Sophia Center staff and volunteered for Toledo GROWS. Sister now volunteers at All Good Things Art & Gifts, the Motherhouse gardens, and Sylvania Area Family Services.
Classroom lesson: Sister Brenda, who has been ‘going green’ since the 1980’s, taught her students (and parents) the size of their carbon footprint with a ‘zero-waste’ lunch challenge.
