Ministries:
Sister served in the ministry of education for 15 years, teaching grades 1-7 and coordinating Religious Ed. In 1977, she embraced the opportunity to minister shoulder to shoulder with the poor in Recife, Brazil. Returning in 1979, she directed the Peace & Justice Cntr. at the Motherhouse before going back to missionary life in 1983, this time serving in Zimbabwe, Africa. Back in the states, she served as the Associate Director of the US Catholic Mission Assoc. until 1991. In 1992, Sister went to Christ the Good Shephard as Parish Assoc. for 12 years, served at the Henry Ford Museum for 12 years, and currently provides pastoral care in her co-op apt. building in Dearborn.
Living in the Moment. In her ongoing conversation with God, she speaks openly. Even when she’d prefer a different answer, she embraces life as it unfolds as his response. “It is always important to live in the presence of God because God is everywhere with us at every moment,” Sister says.
