Meet Sister Pamela Nosbusch, OSF

Pamela Nosbusch
From:

Hopkinsville, KY

First Profession:

1995

Ministries:

Before heeding her call to the Sylvania Franciscans, Sister taught music and worked in various clerical roles. As a novice in 1994, Sister served as Assistant Director of Educational Programs at the Franciscan Center, then taught Music Appreciation at Lourdes from 1995-1996. She began pastoral ministry in Temperance, MI then transferred to Newport, MI from 1998-2006. She completed CPE studies in 2009, served in pastoral care in Monroe, MI until 2011. Since then, Sister has served as a Chaplain in IN and TN, working at Gentiva Hospice since 2013.

Who’d have thought? “My life is like Billy in Family Circus,” Sister says. “It’s been filled with twisty turns and graced encounters that have led me to where I am today. My plan was to be a music teacher. I never thought I’d be a Sister and I never thought I’d be a chaplain, but everything that has happened to me has been part of God’s plan.”
