Meet Sister Diana Lynn Eckel, OSF

Sister served in the ministry of education for 26 combined years, 15 of those spent as school Principal of St. Joan of Arc School in Toledo and All Saints Catholic School in Rossford. She was elected to Congregational Leadership from 1992-1996, and she was later deeply honored to serve as Congregational Minister from 2004 – 2012. Sister then served as Director of Mission Integration at St. Clare Commons, retiring in July 2021.

What brought her here? When Sisters Patrice, Mercaria and Timothea went to Bowling Green to teach catechism at St. Aloysius, their joyful presence swept Sister Diana Lynn away and, soon after, to the beautiful Motherhouse grounds. Sister Patrice became her lifelong friend and mentor.
