From 1958-1972, Sister taught grades 2-8 in OH and MI. At the Motherhouse she served as Novice Director and taught Math at Lourdes College until 1979. She served the Toledo Diocese as Assoc. Director of Lay Ministry, then directed the Lifelong Learning Program at Lourdes College. From 1997 – 2007, Sister ministered as Director of Faith Formation for the Church of Immaculate Conception in Columbia Heights. In 2008, she was asked to serve as Director of Mission Integration at Trinity Medical in Brenham, TX, and, since 2009, as Director of Ministry for CHI St. Joseph Health Rural Hospitals in Bryan, TX.

We are an Easter people living in a Good Friday World: “Here on Earth, we see the troubles and tribulations and we yearn for the Resurrection,” Sister says. “We cannot live the Resurrection here, but we can live the spirit of it in this life.” This philosophy guides Sister, as she exalts in the work of her partners in ministry and seeks to grace each interaction with compassionate listening and gratitude.
