Ministries:
From 1949-1970, Sister taught grades 2-8 in MI, MN and OH, then from 1970-1984 served as a Principal. She was selected for the Arc Program in Rome, where she studied Theology from 1984-1985. She returned to minister as Associate Director of the Toledo Diocesan Vocation Office until 1990. At the Motherhouse, she served as Director of the Ministry Office for nearly a decade and, since 1999, has served as the Coordinator of Field Experience for Lourdes University.
A year to remember: Sister’s year of Theological study in Rome was “an unspeakable year,” Sister says, filled with rich surprises. She went to Pope John 23rd’s private Mass, visited St. Maria Goretti’s home and the U.S. Ambassador’s home, met famous people, traveled widely and made a retreat in the Holy Land where “the Bible just came alive!” She remains in communication with Sisters around the world who shared this experience with her.
