Praying in a Time of Distress

Loving God, we are in distress. Help us find a way of coping and living in the reality of this pandemic.  Remind us of your constant loving embrace during these days of Covid-19. Direct us to those ways that give us new life.

Open our eyes to energy in the beauty of creation, the sound of music, the quiet of a corner, a loving family, and humor and in prayer.

The Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio are committed to being a presence to you, our dear partners and friends, during these days of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have taken measures in keeping with the request of our governor to assure that our senior sisters remain well and cared for. Although this health crisis has closed our physical spaces, we continue to offer hospitality and virtual spirituality through:

  • Welcoming outside walkers on our 89-acre campus
  • Live Streaming of Sunday Mass from Queen of Peace Chapel continues at 9:00 a.m. (See the information at the top of this page.)
  • All Good Things Art and Gifts is open:  Tuesday– Friday, 10 a.m. – 2:00 pm  (Limit of three customers at a time and all must wear a face mask) Call us for curbside pick-up at 419.824.3749 or order online

Please read the COVID19 guidelines for the Sisters of St. Francis campus and Lourdes University. COVID19 March 19, 2020
